Pino Doncel Black, D.O. Jumilla Spain
Monastrell - Syrah - Petit Verdot, dry
The wine matured for five months in barriques made from French and American oak
with different degrees of roasting. This not only gives it its expressive, seductive bouquet of vanilla and roasted aromas, spicy notes and dark berry fruit, but also its fine, wonderfully spicy and fine-grained tannin structure. It caresses the palate softly and yet has just
the right amount of firmness and strength, so that it has what it takes to become a crowd-pleaser.
Made from 50% Monastrell, 25% Syrah and 25% Petit Verdot from organic (but not yet certified) cultivation.
Winner of the Gran Baco d'Oro, the most important competition for young Spanish wines!
